As Richard charged forward, his feet slipped out from under him and he crashed to the ground.

Shieldman 1 raised his electric sword into the air, and imbued lightning around the three archers' arrows.

Archers 1 and 3 both fired an electric arrow at the fallen Richard intending to down the fallen warrior before he had time to recover.

Archer 2 pulled back an arrow, only to be struck with a bolt of lightning courtesy of Morwenna. He seized up, and fell over - jolting in place.

Shieldman 2 with no archer left to protect, the bandit stood and marched forward; his shield poised up and his axe held back. With a hurl of his arm, he flung the axe towards Gillis's chest!

Shieldman 3 smashed his mace into the ground once again, and a layer of ice covered the shield of each Shieldman - bolstering their defenses.

Silvan saw the large fiery glow overhead and dived to the ground; covering his face as he curled into a ball to cover his vital organs. The explosion shook the ground, and sent a forceful wave of flame to scorch the three within the narrow corridor. There wasn't much space to escape to, and as such the flames licked at the adventurers' forms. All three, having the sense to get down, suffered minimal damage, save for a handful of second and first degree burns. Any cloth exposed to the flame has been lit ablaze.

Silvan, wearing nothing but cloth, quickly began rolling back and forth on the ground - screaming - as he tried to douse the flames.

Archer 2 is incapacitated.

His luck didn’t pay off as the man in armor fell to the ground, this didn’t discouraged him at all instead he got onto one knee his head lifted realizing two arrow was heading straight towards him. Leaning his upper body and head to one side one of the arrow flew right pass him the lightning imbued into it connected for a few instance with his helmet. While the other sadly hit him right in the shoulder piercing the armor and mail plating and into his flesh while the lightning zapped him.

Trying to avoid to get zapped indefinitely he grabbed the arrow shaft with his free hand he ripped out the arrow from his shoulder and threw it on the ground. Using his claymore as a cane he got back he continued to walk as fast as possible without slipping and falling on the ground.

Both hands held tightly on the claymore as he contracted the muscle he felt the pain of his left arm spiked yet he decided to fight through the pain as adrenaline started to kick up.

If he managed to get close enough for a swing he would use what little momentum he had and his sheer force to swing onto shieldman 1 torso needing to get rid of him first before attacking archer 1. If he would to block he hoped his sheer forced would atleast brake some bones in him or push him on the ground.

Her gaze looked back to the others as she heard the elf cry out in terror as his small form was engulfed in flames. Nevertheless, she had other matters to attend to, and she continued on her way towards Shieldman 2, taking a slower pace to avoid slipping on the icy ground beneath her feet.

Soon thereafter, she noticed the fireball headed in her direction. Ducking to the side, she slipped onto one knee as the fireball passed by her, headed towards Silvan and the others. "Incoming!" she yelled, before recovering and closing in on the shield bearing warrior before her, though her eyes were now set on the magus hiding in the back of the room. Always the coward, she thought to herself as he spoke to the other bandits strewn across the room.

Anrion rolled off his companion and suppressed all the smoldering flames remaining on him. As it was right this second, he could not move into the room to strike, nor could he shoot over his companions. However, he could make himself ready for anything that might happen.

The argonian was the bottom of the pile of humanoids that were bathed in flame and after ripping off her now flaming cloak immediately pulled out her bow and knotched an arrow. "sssssend these poor sssods to the void." Hissed the argonian with much hatred.

The flames covering Silvan's body began to die down, and he slowed his rolling. The explosion ruined his ears, and all sound was replaced by a maddening ringing. There was a loud muffled sound coming from what he assumed was the paladin, and as such, Silvan turned to give her his attention; only to see a fireball crash before him and explode in a burst of light a few feet from his face. He didn't hear the explosion, and everything went black as he was sent crashing towards the back of the corridor, colliding into the stairs the party descended with a sickening crack.

Richard carefully and slowly traversed the ice, reaching Shieldman 1. His claymore came down onto the man with an arc, crashing into his shield. The blade bit into the ice-enchantment, splitting it, only for the weapon to be frozen to the shield's surface. Shieldman 1 yanked his shield to the side to disarm Richard before jabbing the point of his sword towards the warrior's armpit.

Archer 1 turned to run and gain some distance away from the battling Richard and Bandit. Once away, he notched another arrow in preparation for his next attack.

Shieldman 2 pulled another axe from his belt before the fireball courtesy of Gillis crashed into his shield; melting the protective layer of ice. He growled and stomped his boot - fire erupting from where it made contact. The ice covering the ground melted in a flash of head, and Morwenna was besieged upon by a wave of rising flames.

Shieldman 3 pointed the head of his mace at Gillis, and a large spike of ice formed in the air, bathing in an azure glow. With a surge of speed, it rocketed towards the Redguard warrior, only to fracture just prior to impact and separate into a shotgun spread of super-hardened ice-shards.

Archer 3 turned his sights towards Morwenna, letting an arrow loose to puncture her abdomen.

As he saw his blade being imbued with ice and shield man in motion of yank, Richard let go of his claymore hoping the weight of the claymore that was not attached on the shield would unbalance the man enough so he could riposte and strike. Using his left arm he slam the enemy blade away of him and then slide down ,the armguard scratching against the blade of the sword, to grab the man’s arms. With his other hand he strike to the man throat grabbing it as tightly possible. His goal was to kill the man but also make sure the now run away archer didn’t have a clear shot on him and this was the only way he thought of.

Halting as she saw the flames that wafted in her direction, she summoned a protective shield infront of her form, halting their force before her. Seemingly pleased with the result, she awaited the smoke obscuring her vision to dissipate, before she was struck by another arrow, embedding itself in her abdominal area.

Falling to a knee, she quickly spotted the archer who'd decided to start another round, to which she sent forth another bolt of electricity for the shieldman infront of him, hoping to chain from one to the other.

Griswald cursed under his breath as the paladin brought forth a shield to block the fireball. He then looked at Shieldman 3(Paul).He then laid his staff upon his back and he started to form an ice sphere into his palm, growing in diameter. Moving so that he would not have any spells or arrows interrupt him hopefully.

Anrion had had his fill of waiting. Edging forward, yet still not at the front lines, he takes in a quick survey of the room. He hopes against all hope that he might find an ancient Ayleid chandelier. Disappointed, he instead makes himself ready to assist any of his companions who might become flanked.

Salmystra immediately lets loose her arrow towards the archer that had just shot morwenna in the abdomen. "I sssend your sssoul to ssithis weakling." She mutters under her breath with a decent amount of hatred as the arrow sails through the air towards the archer. She then knotches a poisoned arrow and reads for the next attack.

Re: Market District: The Merchants Inn

Gillis was prepared to dispel the large ice spike but was caught off guard when they broke into smaller shards. He was able to rise his shield to protect his face and upper torso while turning his body sideways to make a smaller target but still ultimately leaving his legs defenseless besides his armor. He felt the impact of the shards on his shield  and the immediate pain as the shards penetrated his armor and buried themselves into his legs and hip. Gillis, with his body still turned and blind anger raging inside, gathered fire in each of his hands. He formed two fireballs and combined them together. He turned and lobbed the large ball of fire into the sky in the direction of the shieldman. And now, with his last bit of magical energy, he pointed his sword at the shieldman and fired a lightning bolt, aiming at the heart of the man.

Shieldman 1 had his wrist grabbed by the Richard, and then his throat. Everyone knew armored combat always resorted to wrestling. But the bandit was still armed. With a heave of his arm, the spellsword swung his shield towards the side of Richard's head.

Shieldman 2 raised his axe - flames englufing it - and slammed it down toward's Morwenna's neck while she was pre-occupied sending a bolt of vengeance towards the archer who'd assaulted her.

Shieldman 3 raised his shield to block Morwenna's lightning bolt. The electricity surged through the ice, and chunks of the frozen water fell from the shield and crashed into the ground like shattered glass. He flinched and hide behind his shield once again as Gillis's fireball crashed before him and bathed the area in flames. Worrying about defending the magic, Shieldman 2 was unable to prevent Samwhatever's arrow from burrowing into Archer 3's shoulder.

Archer 3 was too injured to use a bow, and as such retreated to the back of the room towards Griswald.

Archer 1 notched an arrow, but rather than shoot towards Richard again, he turned to fire an arrow towards the tunnel at the Argonian.

"Push forward!" Silvan groaned, holding his smoldering clothes. "You need to get out of the corridor!" He barked, clearly directing his instruction at Samlystraugah and any others who remained in the cramped hallway. He, however, remained where he lay on the stairs, evidently taking the moment to tend to his wounds.

Richard ducked down avoiding the shield and at the same time releasing the grip on shieldman 1 throat, after the shield flew over his head using the little window of time, while the shieldman tried to stop the momentum of his shield, he stepped to the side of the shieldman whichever side that contained the arm with the kiteshield. In his movement he yanked on the shieldman arms attempting to destabilize him while the other reached for his warhammer and swung at the man face with the spiked end.

She muttered something unintelligible underneath her breath as the shieldman waved off the magic, before noticing the next right beside her. Without thinking, she dove herself into him, attempting to throw him to the ground and his weapon elsewhere whilst she thought of something intelligent to do afterwards.

As they collided, the shafts of the arrow's embedded in her flesh wriggled back and forth, irritating the already worsened wounds. The force of the impact with the ground caused the most recent to splint, breaking the arrow off and further into her abdomen. Groaning as she whipped her blade up and around Shieldman 2's neck, she forcefully pressured the blade into his neck, attempting to decapitate him.

Gillis was...in pain. He was exhasuted from this little trip and wished nothing more but for it to be over with. But as he stared at the man who hid behind his shield as fire from his hand, he felt the anger above all. He ripped his helm from his head and threw his shield to the ground. He let out a beastly roar,  took the first step in a sprint to someones death and......fell flat on his face. He had momentarily forgotten the he still had an arrow stuck in one leg, and the shards of ice embedded in the other. He raised his head and let out a growl followed by string of curses. But he was not down, with his sworn in one hand he began to crawl towards the bastard behind the shield.

Griswald concentrated on the ice sphere in front of him growing in diameter. He then moved to a location in which he could see the front line of warrios fighting his brother in arms. The sphere moved forward in front of Griswald. Levitating about 2 feet from his chest. He then reached around and grabbed his staff. The smirk upon Griswald's face was devious. He looked into the battle.

Shieldman 1's face dented in at the strike of the warhammer. He fell back, and struggled to breathe through the mess of shattered skull that obstructed his mouth and nose. Blood filled the crater, and the wheezing attempts at breaths soon turned to strained gurgling before outright stopping.

Shieldman 2 was taken to the ground and thrashed against Morwenna's grasp. The blade of her claymore reached around his neck, pressing into his flesh. A blade wouldn't cut very well without sawing, but the struggle provided enough to tear into the bandit's throat. Blood spilled out and onto his cloths, smearing orange brushstrokes of life onto the floor as he continued to fight the paladin's grasp. He whipped his waraxe over his shoulder to thwack Morwenna in the skull with the blunt end before his waning strength left the Shieldman lying helpless in a mess of his slowly diminishing vitality.

Shieldman 3 watched in horror as his allies crumpled before their attackers. Keeping his defense raised in preparation for more attacks, he glanced back to check on Archer 3, only to see on arrow jolt into his throat and floor him. With no archer left to guard, Shieldman 3 retreated towards Griswald.

Archer 1 dropped his bow - it being dead weight now that he was injured. As he reached to his belt to produce a dagger, one of Anrion's throwing axes spun through the air and planted itself into his forehead with a loud smack before folding into himself. He left out a final exhale, sounding reminiscent of a snore, as a blackish pool collected in the grooves of the stone flooring.

Strapping his hammer back onto his belt he walked to the claymore that was imbedded into the shield due to ice.  Placing his feet onto the shield and his two hands on the hilt of the claymore, in a single motion he ripped the claymore away from the shield shattering the ice all over the ground.  Once removed he faced the wizard. Two more to go before this little skirmish was over.

A distant thud would he heard as Morwenna hit the ground next to the nearly headless bandit beside her. Her helmet landed a few feet away as she settled atop the cold floor. Grasping her head, she moaned as her ears rang from the hard blow she was dealt. The blade still nestled within the man's flesh as his neck was sawn off purely out of reflex.

Gathering herself, she readied onto one knee, ripping the weapon out of his neck and preparing herself for another attack as the last bandit hurried over to his magus. As she started into his direction she stumbled and collapsed on herself, seemingly defeated for the remainder of the fight. A hand fell to her now bleeding abdomen following the rough tussle she'd been in.

Griswald holding the staff in two hands winded it up moving it behind his right shoulder. He looked into the battle and saw a clear sight of the enemies. He looked back at the ice sphere in front of him and swung with all of his might. The sphere moved forward cracking into shards instantly flying towards the enemies. Two spikes towards Richard, 1 spike towards Morwenna, 2 spikes towards Gillis, and 1 in the back of Paul. Griswald took a second to gather his strength back being a mage performing physical feats drained him of his stamina. 2 of the spikes 1 for Richard and 1 for Gillis fell off their mark and flew to the left or right heading to the walls.

Anrion made a fist and a grim smile as the axe collided with his intended target. Following up, he sprinted to retrieve it from the face of his fallen enemy, as Anrion stood back up, he could see magical icicle spears mid-flight at the warriors in the party. As he had nothing he could do for them, he silently hoped their armor would hold up as he turned to find his next target.
