Salmystra now with an arrow sticking out of her torso on the right side of her chest retreats to the rear to stay further out of the line of fire and tend her wound.

Gillis is only able to cover his head with his arms as one of the ice spikes digs into his forearm and the other one misses him entirely. Gillis lets a low grunt at the invasion of more pain into his body. The ice spike are not deep into his skin thanks to the plate armor but he was still bleeding heavily and his left leg was completely numb. He would try to melt the spikes and heal himself but at the moment his energy was taped. So all he could do at the moment is try to recoop his health and and his energy.

Shieldman 3 kept his kiteshield poised in front of him, expecting an attack. Alas, he didn't expect one from his leader, and a spike of ice burrowed into his unarmored back - severing his spine. With a high-pitched yelp, the spellsword slunk to the ground where he lied motionless.

All bandits save for Griswald were taken care of, it seemed.

Silvan pushed himself off the stairs with a grunt, and limped his way towards Salmystra. "Sorry, lass." He said, and with a swift whip of his arm, the Elf pulled a dagger from the Argionion's belt and plunged the blade into her neck. He kicked out the back of her knee, and used the momentum of her fall to tear the blade across her throat. Salmystra thrashed in Silvan's grasp, patting her belt in search of the dagger he'd just stolen in a last ditch effort to defend herself. But soon, her strength waned, and Silvan lowered the Argonian to the ground where a large pool of her blood had collected.

"Sorry, lass." He repeated before taking in a deep breath, wincing in pain. Perhaps it was due to a broken rib. Silvan hurried to the mouth of the corridor, hoping to reach his destination before anyone managed to look back and piece together what exactly had happened.

Reaching the entrance to the room, Silvan pressed his blood-soaked hand into a tile on the wall - smearing red across its masonry. The stone sunk into the wall upon being pressed, and the ruin's foundation began to shake.

"Really sorry about this!" Silvan called out, as his form began to be obscured by a stone door that was slowly raising from the ground in front of him.

Richard dropped his greatsword and dashed towards Morwenna, the two ice shards directed to him grazed his metal armor as was running towards the healer who was on the ground. He needed her to live, at least until she heals him.  Diving in front of Morwenna, the Ice Shard connecting into his lower spine. His armor pierced by the Ice shard entering his flesh deeply, his armor visibly broken from the sheer amount of damage. He collapsed on the ground, his vision blurry, as the adrenaline effect fade of he felt like if a thousand needles pierced his flesh at the same time. He coughed blood out exiting the holes of his helmet onto the ground near Morwenna. Hard and Deep breathing could be heard, he was on critical condition and very weak.

As a loud thud resounded through her ears, she'd finally opened her eyes, noticing the fallen brute beside her. Her blurry vision began to gaze over his form, revealing his wounds. Unable to heal them both, she'd outstretch her arm into his direction, the holy glow overtaking it's shape as she lay still, holding herself together.

Looking further past, she noticed the mage was all that remained, but saw the other armored fellow she'd entered with was down as well. But what of the others, she thought as she forced herself to look over her other shoulder. There only appeared to be two, the hooded archer and another...body? Certainly these wounds were clouding her mind as well? Nevertheless, she had other things to worry about for the time being.

Gillis breathed quick and shallow as the pain crashed inside his body like waves. He was holding onto his consciousness by a thread. The ice shard in his fore-arm was a lot larger than the shards in his leg and feared there'd be large gaping hole once the ice melted. And then as the ground started to shake he whimpered. He knew grown men should't whimper and pout like children and women, but he couldn't help himself. Why, oh why did he not stay home that he not ignore the badly written poster. His hatred for adventure should have warned him, make him him grunt and forget that it was even there but no. But he'd be damned if he just laid down and died here. He moved ice onto his right arm over armor and skin ,freezing the limb from the elbow to fingertips. The ice had a numbing effect on the pain and though would most likely cause more harm then good in the near future, would allow him to think clearly for the moment. Gillis was able to stand, though wobbly from the arrow whose shaft was partially broken in two but still completely impaled into his right leg. Gillis grabbed the shaft with his left had and jerked it upwards and out, grimacing he began to heal what he could from the arrows damage while surveying the area.

Griswald recovered some of his stength. He realized what he had done to poor old paul. Griswald grew with anger. He sighed and charged a fire ball in his hand. Slightly confused after seeing the Elf turn on his own man. Though he lashed out and threw the fire ball towards the spellblade starting to stand up. Griswald thoguht to himself. He would not die in vein and he would capture his target. The fireball flung from Griswald's hand flying towards Gillis. Griswald thought of all the times he had with his comrades. He knew what he had to do, Unless he was captured. Though he would do everything he could not to let that happen.

Anrion charged the mage with a reckless abandon. If he could run him to ground, they could prevent anymore magical injury, a prospect that suited him just fine. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a figure dart past the group accompanied by a "Sorry lass." Alas, he was already committed to his assault to change his focus now.

The stone foundations of the ruins shook violently. Dusk fell from the ceiling and the once straightly-aligned stones began to shift amongst each other as if the entire structure was coming down. Any sounds of combat were drowned out by a crescendo of rumbling and crashing stones.

The only exit was sealed off by a stone door, and to the party's knowledge, Silvan had escaped. With loud snaps and cracks, the floor began to give way, the stones loosening and falling into a black abyss below. The breach in the floor slowly grew in size as if the entire floor of the room was soon to collapse into the pit below.

The corpses lying stationary were the first to go. They tumbled down the ever-growing hole in the floor, and tumbled below.

As the hole grew, the party would quickly become aware that they - along with the 'bandit' Griswald - would soon fall victim to the Ayleid trap.

Richard was no longer in-between the line of life or death thanks to Morwenna’s heal. Though not fully restored it would suffice for now. From the rumbles of the rooms he awoke and grabbed himself together, slowly getting up he felt the many unclosed wounds that was still inflicted on his flesh. He had just enough time to realize what terrible event was going on in the room even though his vision was hazy.  His mind told him to run to the edge and so he tried. Scoping the heavy armored paladin into his two hand he limped his way to the edge. But all was in vein, after only a few second the floor under him crumbled sending him and Morwenna falling down the dark abyss.

Morwenna passed out as a rock fell onto her sternum, abruptly ending any sort of remaining healing she'd had for Richard. He took her and dragged her into the abyss with him.

Gillis bean to notice that the room was falling apart, and he also noticed that there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it. It was taking every ounce of mental endurance for him  to not lose consciousness. Then, as the ground started to give he realized it was gonna take a little more than that.

The lot of the group descended into free-fall and after a moment crashed into the bottom of the pit. The falls were cushioned by a net of huge spiderwebs. There were large breaches in the webbing where a few of the corpses of their foes had manged to tear through, beneath which were those very cadavers - skewered by large iron spikes jutting from the ground. A trap narrowly avoided, it seemed.

What corpses remained were strung up alongside the party, tangled in webbing, lying still in mute surrender. A fine feast for whatever creature spun this domain - one that would include you, should you not find a way out.

Beneath them, where the spikes and impaled corpses sat, was a few gaps where the spikes were bent. There was a hole in the wall at the bottom of the pit, where dark stains of what could be assumed was blood seemed to lead into.

Richard who was gladly still awake look over him, his body stuck to the spider web. Trying to slowly peel his upper body off the spiderweb and then his lower body .Not knowing how strong the web was and didn't want to test if he had just been lucky thus taking his time. If successful he would once again scout around his first goal was to find his comrade notable Gillis, Morwenna and the ranger and after would try see if his great sword was also as lucky as him and stuck onto the web. He knew he had little time to lose as whatever monster made this web will soon find their dinner who Richard didn't wanted to become.

Still out cold, Morwenna was slightly suspended over the ground, her blade struck into the earth beneath her. A few mumbles and groans resounded from her still form, her long hair covering her face now that her helmet was nowhere to be found.

Griswald fell and landed in webs and got entangled. He quickly looked around to see what had caught him, and see what had become of his enemies. He spotted them in them tangled in the webs and looked down at the webs holding him in the air. He snapped his fingers to cast Mage Light. He quickly looked around. He saw the spikes on the ground and freaked out. He quickly looked over at the other guys and said. "So it looks like we're in a bind here. Let's say we get out of here and work together and then we settle our dispute? I Can heal some of your wounds if you can promise not to cut me down as soon as we're out of this?!".

Anrion shook his head, a loose stone had clocked him and he did not remember the fall into the darkness. Luckily, he had landed on a chunk of fallen floor that had crushed some of the spikes in the area. He groaned as he pulled himself back to full awareness. After a second he began to pull himself up, only to slump back down in exhaustion. "Who's left?" He called out to no'one in particular.

Gillis was alive but not very happy. The arm covered in ice was beginning to melt without his constant concentration on it, and the pain was returning along with the dual aches and various pains from the rest of his body. He didn't know he fell until he hit something, a something that was surprisingly not hard and bone crushing but soft and absorbing. That perked his mood just a bit until he tried to move his body and he realized he was stuck to what he could only imagine to be a large net, a large sticky net. Gillis groaned and started to try to remove himself from the net. Which he knew wasn't a net but rather not think of what it actually was.

Griswald turned to the warrior and nodded to confirm the agreement they have came to. He then looked at Morwenna. He closed his eyes and Morwenna and she started to glow. Opening his eyes and looking around to see where he could land without falling to his death. He spotted a area in which he could land safely and started to try and untangle the webs.

After fighting the webs for longer then he should have had to, he was able to fight his way free only to fall inches from a spike that was protruding from the ground. Gillis sighed once again peeved from the frustrating events of the night. He moved into a sitting position and waited for someone to join him, preferably someone with teeth and not fangs.

Finally pulling himself back to his feet, Anrion looked around the immense darkness that engulfed the group. Pulling his pack from behind him, he checked to see what was and what was not broken. Luckily, there were some torches strapped to it that looked in fine condition, and proving that luck came in three's he also found his flint and steel to be no worse for wear either. Taking a moment, Anrion sparked up a torch so that the group might see better in the ruin.

Richard made his way until he met Gillis who was now sitting. Giving the man a small tap on the shoulder signaling 'everything going to be alright'. Under his metallic helmet he attempted find any serious wound and he judge Gillis being able to get on his two feet and walk. Extending his right arm out he attempted to give the warrior a help back onto his feet before giving a small nod. If Gillis needed help to walk around Richard would place the magic warrior arm over his shoulder so that Gillis could lean on him for support.  He wanted to regroup with the rest of the squad before adventuring any further.

As the healing did its work, her wounds began to seal, though the ones that were still open from the arrow shafts and heads wouldn't close completely, the damage was halted atleast for the moment. Her figure began to move again, arms seemingly clawing at an invisible foe.

"Waaaaah!?" she yelped, her eyes opening to the sight of a large drop and several hundered spikes below her. "What's going on!?" Her eyes darted back and forth, noticing the two men below her and the magus whom they'd been trying to slay. "What is he still doing alive?" she spat, brows furrowing nervously as she attempted to get herself out of the webs, without falling too harsly in her armor.

Griswald laughed at Morwenna's remark. "Easy there pally, we struck a deal and we'll settle this combat after we get the hell out of here. I rather not start a fight, and have queen bitch come out and eat us for dinner." He said while cutting the webs so he could fall to floor below him. He landed on his feet and looked around at the others. "Does anyone else need healing?" He asked picking his staff up off the ground.
