Re: Market District: The Merchants Inn
Anrion nodded begrudgingly. He didn't like receiving help from a sorcerer or what have you, but having a bow in this situation could turn useful. "I could use some restoration." He made his way across the area to Griswald.

Gillis heard the tap on his shoulder rather than felt and looked up to find the bashful fellow Richard standing above him. Richard nodded towards him and extended his hand. Gillis returned the nod and was all to happy to except his hand. With Richards help, he was able to stand though he thought walking would be a problem. But it seemed Richard would also provide a shoulder in which to lean. They moved together to find the rest of the party.

Richard helping Gillis moved towards the rest of the group which was composed of Griswald, Morwenna and Anrion. “How are all your wounds?” He didn’t specify a single one of them, it was quick dry comment trying to remain as simple as it is. He then motion to Gillis to sit down as he slowly kneel down to bring him down with him. With a single finger he motion one of the healer to come tend to the poor Gillis wound.

Re: Market District: The Merchants Inn
Dropping to the ground, she let out a groan as she stood back up, withdrawing her blade, before pointing it to Griswald. "I've done no such thing. You're not given a free pass from me. I will deal with you soon, swine!" she spat viciously, sheating her blade as her eyes peeled from him nervously.
As the others assisted one another or got a hold of themselves, Morwenna began to look for an exit or at least for something of use. Crouching momentarily at the edge of the pit, she scanned the various spikes and broken shards of metal across the ground.

As the group scoured the area in search of an exit, a scratching sound echoed from overhead. Morwenna would feel a draft of air cutting through a small pile of rubble along the wall - a passage perhaps. But before there was proper opportunity to investigate or weigh options, a series of shrill chitters that caused the hair on the back of your necks to stand emitted from the numerous tunnels burrowed in the wall above the net.
A sticky popping noise of countless legs scratching across webbing-lined stone preceded the advent of the creatures lurking in the darkness.
Their time having run out, the group was left with one choice: run, or fight.

Anrion urged the others towards the newly-found passage, torch in hand as he investigated the entrance momentarily, shifting the rocks to allow them to pull themselves through. "Let's move!" He called to the group and he plunged into the depths, the light of his torch creating long shadows upon the wall. Crawling into the hole, he noticed that it was actually a small tunnel. Anrion only hoped that it wouldn't take them out of the frying pan and into the fire...

Hearing the voice of the ranger, Richard with Gillis still leaning on his shoulder walked to the little hole they found. Kneeling down to help Gillis get into the hole before yelling at the rest of the group. “COME ON!” Drawing his great sword he would attempt to fend off whatever horrible creature that was coming at them so that the group could flee before he too flee.

Gillis hung to Richard as they moved, trying his best to keep with his pace but severely lacking in his speed and strength. Regardless, Gillis drew his sword in his left hand to guard Richards occupied side, not wanting to be completely useless.

Giving the magus another distasteful look, she fell in behind the Archer as the others followed them. Holding her sword in front of her, she shimmied her way through the tunnel, not being nearly as small as Anrion. "Do you see anything?" she called out from behind him whilst also giving the two behind her a glance. She hated this, small confined spaces were the worst, especially given if they were sealed in from one side or the other, this wouldn't be very good.
Re: Market District: The Merchants Inn
As the group crawled into the hole and proceeded into the tunnel, the sound of chitinous legs beating behind them grew faster, only to stop. Whatever was following them clearly was too big to fit into the tiny hole the group squeezed into. Lucky for them.
It was a narrow tunnel. Anrion's bow would snag on jagged rocks as he proceeded, and the other three would find their movements excruciatingly limited in their heavy armors. The draft from before was stronger, blowing into Anrion's face. The smell was fresh - wherever the breach in the tunnel was, it led outside.
After a long and painful trek through the rocky passage, the tunnel opened up; at first giving the group enough room to comfortably crawl, before finally being tall enough to stand. There was moisture in the air and a faint light ahead.

Pulling himself into the larger tunnel, Anrion helped Morwenna out of the narrow pass before going to scout out the strange light. He dropped into a crouch and stealthed his way closer to see what could be seen.
He turned back to the group and motioned briefly for them to wait where they were while he investigated and reported back. Closer he crept straining his eyes and ears for information.

Richard waited his turn to leave the darn tunnel whenever he exited he gave Anrion a nod as he asked them to wait. Using himself as a lever to support the hurt Gillis he brought him towards the paladin. Tapping on Morwenna shoulder, he gave a motion with his free arm toward Gillis who was still visibly wounded. Hoping she would understand what he was trying to convey. Aka heal the poor fucker.

As Richard helped Gillis From the tunnel, he gave a slightly defeated shrug to the paladin. "I would greatly appreciate your services" He rushed the words from his mouth as his breathing came in short and struggled. His health had deteriorated passed his own ability to hell himself completely long ago.

"I'll give you my blessing when we get you out of that hole. Come here." She spoke down to the two in the hole, giving an arm to Gillis, hoping Richard would help her boost him up. "How badly are you hurt? That mage didn't even assist you?"
